The perfect place to unwind and disconnect from the pressure of life

La Balie is a collection of beautiful converted stone farm buildings with a total of 8 double or twin rooms, ideal for family gatherings or groups of friends. Dating from the 16th century and set in a stunning location amongst the rolling terrain and Bastide towns of the Lot-et-Garonne in South West France, La Balie is a place to relax, share meals and explore.

The caramel coloured farm buildings are complete with thick stone walls, wooden beams and stunning views. Renovated in 2014 La Balie has now been transformed into a calming haven: the three stone cottages, which sleep a total of sixteen guests, are smart, light-filled spaces; there’s an expanse of lawned garden, an inviting salt-water pool and fantastic terrace swaddled by swathes of lavender.

Each of the three cottages has a large open-plan dining/living area with a super functional and well-equipped kitchen. Rooms are simply decorated with white or exposed stone walls, neutral coloured sofas and armchairs and bedrooms are calming with rolling country views. All our bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms which are luxurious and immaculate.

Whether you’re a group of friends or an individual, La Balie offers space and privacy with pretty courtyards for each cottage and wonderful alfresco dining for eighteen on the covered terrace.
