From many years of cycle touring in France and Europe, I know that enjoying a good meal goes hand in hand with completing a day in the saddle. When you have navigated your way through our beautiful terrain, famed for its agriculture and bio production, or perhaps stopped off at a local market, your taste buds will be longing for your return home and a good meal.
Whilst there are many good restaurants and during the months of July and August, Soiree Gourmand’s where the locals turn the village squares into open air restaurants, having your own personal chef to serve you and your group is also a great way to extend the experience of everything rich you have enjoyed on your bike.
Through our organisation of retreats, we have got to know the local chefs who are talented in catering for groups, so that your enjoyment of La Balie and our region is complete and all you have to do is enjoy the natural abundance of unspoilt terrain, culture and history that will be with you throughout your day.
Whilst La Balie doesn’t offer breakfast or dinner, we can organise full catering for you and your group through one of the following chef’s.
Please note that it is down to you to agree menu’s and pricing directly with the chefs and arrange your own wine and beer if required!!
